Vikram meets the press on his birthday (April 17, 2008)

Chiyaan Vikram’s birthday celebrations was conducted at the Residency, Chennai where Vikram met the press. Vikram spoke about his past, present and future. He took the occasion to thank his fans and the media for all the support he had received even during his tough times.

Vikram marked his birthday by donating his eyes through the Ramachandra Medical Mission. He remarked, “It was while shooting Kasi that I realized what a tough life blind people lead. So I and around 1000 fans have decided to donate our eyes. This is just a small drop, but a significant start.”

Chiyaan Vikram will go to an orphanage later in day to give cheer and share his special day with children at Vannagaram.

Bheemaa gets certified

The movie Bheemaa starring Vikram and Trisha in the lead roles is finally set for release. The film was screened for the members of Censor Board on the first day of the New Year and has been passed with an 'A' certificate. The members were very much impressed with the superficial presentation of the movie. Bheemaa is directed by Lingusamy and produced by A.M. Ratnam under his banner Sri Surya Movies. The music scored by Harris Jayaraj was released long back and is still rocking in the audio charts. The movie will finally be released on January 11.

'Bheemaa' to be released on January 11

The movie 'Bheemaa' is planned to be released on January 11, 2008. The movie is directed by Lingusamy and Produced by AM Rathnam for Sri Surya Movies. Lingusamy has great expectations for this film. Vikram plays a dadha role and he took along a portable gym with him for the entire shooting schedule. Trisha plays the lead role and she has reduced her costume for a song shoot.

Vikram’s Bheema to hit the screens for pongal

The shooting for ‘Bheemaa’ will be over by this Pongal. The movie is produced by AM Rathnam and directed by Lingusamy. Vikram and Trisha play the lead roles. This movie has been for shooting long time due to some financial constraints faced by the producer. The problems are solved now and the movie will hit the screens for Pongal. Harris Jeyaraj has scored music for the movie and it has become a huge hit. Currently, Vikram is busy with his next project 'Kandasaamy'.

Natural rain helps Kandasamy crew

The Vikram-Shriya starrer Kandhasamy is directed by Susi Ganesan and the shooting is going on in full swing now. Monsoon which is playing in Tamil Nadu now has been a blessing for the Kandasamy team. So the director has decided to save an artificial studio rain and shoot a scene where Vikram gets wet in the rain with the natural ongoing monsoon. The shooting was held on Chennai’s East Cost Rd. Vikram’s father Vinoth Raj is to play an important role in the film Kandasamy.

Bheemaa is back again!

The movie Bheemaa is finally out of problems! The petition filed by the airline company for non-payment of dues has been sort out at last. The company which filed a case and got stay on the release of the movie is fully settled. The case has been postponed to November 26th. Bheemaa which was supposed to be a Diwali release will be screened by the end of this November.

A. M. Rathinam to decide the release date for ‘Bheema’

Bheema featuring Trisha and I in the lead roles is ready for release now. I am very happy about the completion of the shooting. Only the final post production work is pending. Everything else is over. Thanks to the efforts of Lingusamy and his dedicated team. As the shooting is over, it is up to the producer A. M. Rathinam to decide the release date. I am confident that the film will hit the screens very soon.

Bheema's audio to hit the stands

I know that you, my fans, are eagerly waiting for the audio release of Bheema since the past two years. The wait is going to be over. The audio release will happen soon. Harris Jeyaraj has scored the music. The audio will release next week and the movie is expected to be released in the first week of September.

Bheema’s shooting to be completed soon

Bheema shooting will soon come to an end. The story part has been completed. Only a song sequence has to be shot. Director Lingusamy says that the song is to be shot at Prasad Studios.

‘Kandasaamy’ shooting will commence soon

Kandasaamy is an upcoming film for me. It is directed by Susi Ganesan. The Cinematography is by Ekambaram, fame of Iyarkai . Kandasaamy is expected to be released this Diwali. The director is confident that the film will have a good run.
